IRVINE SPECTRUM CENTER Provided design services on more than 100 projects. The largest was Block 800 Redevelopment. Linwood Engineering provided MEP design services for the redevelopment of 138,000 square feet of retail, dining, and exterior spaces. Scope included multiple new pad buildings and parking garages. Other notable projects are freeway digital pylon signage, “The Clock”, and the Giant Wheel Lighting Renovation.
THE COMMONS (COMMISSARY AT THE GROVES) Linwood Engineering provided full MEP design for the 126-year-old former Whittier State School and Correctional Facility which, in the 1960s, was transformed into a Protestant Chapel. CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY VILLA PARK ORCHARD "K" Residence Hall & Packing House Adaptive Reuse Adaptive reuse of a 100-year-old packing house for Chapman University in Old Towne Orange. At one time it was the world’s largest exclusive shipper of oranges. Packing house was converted to a shell building which when fully developed will house food services, a museum, and classrooms/studios. Linwood
ANAHEIM PACKING HOUSE Demolition and major renovation to the 42,000 sqft. Anaheim Citrus Packing House. Built in 1911, and listed on the national historic register, the building was repurposed as a gourmet food hall. Design focused on the preservation of historic structures while making adaptive reuse improvements, including a complete electrical system upgrade.
