Linwood has provided consulting services for 11 FedEx Ground sites. The largest project was a 304,000 SF, ground-up distribution center located in Zelienople, PA. The facility serves as a regional shipping hub for North Pittsburgh. Linwood delivered full MEP design at the 41-acre site, which housed a main warehouse, offices, shipping/receiving areas, support areas, and parking for 634 cars and 340 tractor trailers. The project included an internal fume detection system and a state-of-the-art automated distribution conveyor system able to process 15,000 packages per hour
